Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and music educator based in Oakland, CA. Graduate of the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, where he directs the funk program. Apprenticed under Otis McDonald. His teaching is hands-on, adaptive, and always musical — whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or preparing for a conservatory audition.
In-Person — Oakland, CA
Lessons take place at the studio in Oakland. One-on-one in a fully equipped teaching space with access to instruments, amps, and recording gear. Recommended for beginners and ensemble students.
Online — Anywhere
Remote lessons via video call (Zoom or FaceTime). Great for intermediate and advanced students, music theory, production, and students outside the Bay Area. Bring your own instrument.
